Mayture is a practicing Clinical Psychologist whose focus is on providing psychological interventions that involve assessment, psychotherapy, and trainings related to mental health issues. Her therapeutic services are delivered through an array of humanistic and cognitive behavioral techniques with the aim of facilitating individual's cognitive, emotional and psychosocial development.
Throughout her practice as a Clinical Psychologist, Mayture has various experiences providing psychological assessments to evaluate personality, cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning for both teenagers and adults. She also has various experiences working with women and children who are survivors of domestic violence as well as with the marginalized population, mainly refugees, by providing psychological intervention and trainings.
At present, Mayture is a private practitioner working closely with other mental health professionals such as Psychiatrists and Counsellors. Her areas of interest include developing interpersonal & communication skills, building self-esteem, conflict resolution, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and the management of anxiety and trauma-related issues. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Malay.
